With a focus on utilising an integrated practices framework, our service delivers innovative solutions to some of Hertfordshire's most vulnerable residents. The role As an Educational Psychologist who has experience of supporting children and young people aged 0 to 25 (with a particular emphasis on SEND), you will deliver high quality preventative and statutory advice that will enable service users to get the most out of their educational experiences, overcoming hurdles to inclusion and success. This will put you at the cutting-edge of educational psychology, as you devise creative strategies and interventions that will help children and young people get the most out of life. About you We are looking for a research or evidence-based practitioner with an exceptional ability to connect with children and young people. With skills in formulating hypotheses based on the evidence that you are provided with, you will have the flexibility to provide last-minute crisis and critical incidence support, so that we can fully embrace the importance of early intervention. HCPC registered, with qualifications that are recognised by the British Psychological Society, you will have a good knowledge of legislation relating to young people under the age of 25. You will also be a highly organised individual with good communication and engagement capabilities, and able to remain calm and resilient under pressure. Due to the nature of the role, a driving license and vehicle are essential.
