Used to financial administration, the role will include record keeping for grant reporting as well as buildings contract management. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work within the cultural sector. A flexible and proactive approach is essential in this varied role. Brief Description of Job: Responsible for the day-to-day financial and practical administration of museum activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. To ensure the day-to-day activity of the museum runs smoothly.
2. Responsible for front of house operations 1-2 days per week as duty officer.
3. To ensure proper care is taken of financial transactions and records.
4. Act as building manager for maintenance, cleaning, and utilities.
5. Act as keyholder.
Hours: Full time, 5 days per week, 9am to 5pm. Flexibility for some weekend holiday cover and occasional evening events would be appreciated. Job share arrangements possible if we have the right candidates.
