Person Requirements of the Site Services Manager:
1. Time served site services or facilities engineer, preferably from the FMCG Industry.
2. Recognised qualification e.g. HNC/HND/ONC/OND or Degree.
3. Accustomed to fast paced and challenging working environments.
4. People and Performance Management experience.
5. Multi-site experience.
Job Requirements of the Site Services Manager:
1. The ideal Site Services Manager will have a strong background in the manufacturing and engineering sector and be accustomed to fast paced environments.
2. Work in partnership with both Factory Managers, facilities team, engineering team, team leaders, planners and other areas to carry out repairs to facilities equipment and plant machinery.
3. People Management and Performance Management - implement plans to improve performance of under performing colleagues, as well as career development plans to recognise top performers.
4. Work closely with the Factory Managers of both sites to identify opportunities to drive improvements or cost savings with processes.
5. Managing and directing contractors, ensuring standards and budgets are met.
6. Become competent and agile with the use of the internal CMMS, supporting preventative and daily team maintenance activity.
7. Set an example to the wider team on best practise and actively challenge behaviours.
8. Manage the team of facilities technicians, Team Leaders and coordinators.
9. Carry out planned inspection routes on facilities plant and proactive maintenance schedules.
10. Following site H&S procedures and reporting any risks via the internal reporting process.
