SEMH Behaviour Teaching Assistant High Peak – September
Are you a passionate graduate, Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker or Behaviour Support assistant looking to work with young people who you could positively impact from day one?
We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant/Youth worker who has experience supporting young people with behavioural difficulties. You will be required to support pupils in small groups or as a 121 teaching assistant with a variety of SEND, including SEMH, ASC and ADHD. This role is to assist children with their behaviour and help them develop life skills.
You don’t necessarily need to have school-based experience, for this role; sports graduates, sports coaches, youth workers and care workers are also welcome to apply for this. We are seeking passionate individuals that have a desire for supporting children with challenging behaviour that may have experienced early life trauma.
To be considered for this role it is essential that you are able to drive and have access to a vehicle.

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last 2 years
