Project and Procurement Coordinator - Angus
One of our long-standing clients in Angus are looking to welcome a Project and Procurement Coordinator to their team. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills and can confidently liaise with colleagues and clients.
Primary Responsibilities
Enquiry Coordination
* Logging all enquiries and full control/maintenance of enquiry registers.
* Creating all enquiry files.
* Monitoring enquiry status and updating relevant files.
Project Coordination
* Creation of project files, including job packs for workshop.
* Monitoring project status- updating relevant files, including completion of project register for delivery status/dates.
* Compilation of Drawing Register(s) and subsequent revisions.
* Preparation of delivery notes.
* Minute taking of weekly production meetings, tracking on time delivery status.
* Support to Workshop/Project Management and Clients (as required) in any admin required.
Procurement
* Preparation of purchase orders for materials and/or parts from approved vendors.
* Tracking off-hire of equipment for the workshop.
* Maintaining purchase records, including Requisitions, POs and updates to the PO register.
* Locating and selecting sources of supply for materials or services required.
* Requesting quotations and conducting negotiations as applicable.
* Expediting of deliverables.
* Liaise with QHSE/provide updates to QHSE Compliance system with regards to purchases.
* Reacting to change in customer demands.
* Maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
* Monitoring and reporting vendor performances.
* Monitoring supplier deliveries, in liaison with stores.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
* Good secondary education with English and maths as a minimum.
* Higher Business Studies/Administration or equivalent demonstrable on job experience.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Advanced MS office skills specifically outlook, word, excel and PowerPoint.
* Purchasing, negotiation and organisation skills.
* Understanding planning and controlling of materials/inventory control.
* Excellent Communicator both written and verbal and good negotiation skills.
* Oil and gas industry experience preferred
