I'm delighted to working with a leading international manufacturer, who is looking to bring in an experienced Payroller looking for their next step in their career, or a payroll supervisor/manager who is looking to join a company where staff culture is most important to the business.
In this position, you'll be managing a team of 6 and managing the day to day process and assisting the payroll manager in more complex situations, as well as training and mentoring junior staff.
You'll need high volume payroll experience, ideally CIPP qualified or close to completing and have full knowledge of payroll requirements.
The position is paying up to £45,000 with some fantastic additional company benefits.
Duties Include:
1. Manage and develop a team of 5-6 Payroll Administrators.
2. Carry out more complex elements of the Payroll process, playing a key role in paying our team members accurately and on time.
3. Support the Payroll Manager in compiling / reviewing metrics and maintaining/improving standards across the team
4. Helping the team learn new tasks and being a first point of escalation for trouble shooting
5. Ensuring the team's tasks are completed to a high standard
Experience:
6. A high level of Payroll knowledge backed up by a CIPP qualification
7. 5+ years' in a high volume Payroll team
8. Previous line management experience
9. Ability to work at pace with a high attention to detail
