Job Title: Digital Capabilities Product Owner, Applied AI
Salary: £49,300 - £65,950 per annum
Location: Cambridge, UK/Hybrid – minimum of 2 days per week in the office
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
We are seeking a strategically minded and technically proficient individual to lead the development and delivery of AI Automarking capabilities for English language assessments. About the role
You will manage and develop our AI Automarking capabilities across various product types and platforms. This role involves close collaboration with multiple sub-teams within the Applied Engineering team and beyond to ensure our capabilities are fit for purpose and meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Shape and communicate the vision and strategy for AI capabilities within the Applied AI team.
* Co-create and manage the roadmap for development, deployment, and adoption of new systems and processes.
* Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in.
* Collaborate with external partners on product and technical integrations.
* Prioritise features to meet strategic goals and negotiate with partners on conflicting interests.
* Manage technical requirements and defects to ensure optimal delivery.
* Identify and solve potential problems proactively.
* Define and communicate requirements clearly to developers.
About you
We are looking for a digital capabilities product owner who can effectively bridge the gap between business objectives and technical expertise.
You will be a collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, able to build strong relationships across different departments within the business. Your ability to work on multiple projects and prioritise effectively will be essential to your success in this role.
Experience in working and leading in a matrix structure is essential. You should be comfortable working in an agile and iterative environment and must have demonstrable experience in managing complex projects. You should also be comfortable working with technical applications and colleagues.
