We are seeking a Specialist OT with a focus on early childhood development. The role involves providing expert OT services to children and young people. You will also support and mentor OT staff, ensuring high standards in assessment, intervention, and clinical governance across the Early Child Development (ECD) pathway. As part of our supportive community service, you'll become a valued member of a collaborative network of specialists. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a practitioner with an interest in early years, sensory development, and complex neurodevelopmental needs. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team supporting young children with a range of developmental, sensory, and attachment challenges. Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist OT assessment and intervention for children with complex needs
2. Deliver evidence-based practice as part of a multi-disciplinary team
3. Offer clinical supervision and support to OT staff across CFHD
4. Focus on the Early Child Development (ECD) Pathway, whilst collaborating with therapists across the other pathways
5. Screen, triage, and assess referrals using a strengths-based approach
6. Contribute to risk assessment and care planning with children, families, and carers
7. Manage a caseload of children with complex long-term conditions and additional needs
8. Promote evidence-based care in the community setting
