Baltic Apprenticeships is excited to work alongside Cambridge Helpdesk who offer a wide array of online and in-person services to make customers' experience with them as comprehensive and welcoming as possible.
As a Technical Support Engineer, you'll provide technical support and advice to their customers and collaborate with their staff on ongoing and new projects. You'll handle tickets from phone calls, emails, and our support portal, with most support being remote and occasional on-site work.

In this role, you’ll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
* Provide technical support and serve as a primary contact for customers across various products and services.
* Troubleshoot and manage IT systems, including Windows desktop support, network setup, VoIP, and Microsoft 365 administration.
* Monitor and update helpdesk tickets, ensuring issues are resolved within SLAs.
* Set up, rebuild, and maintain hardware such as Windows/Mac devices, printers, network equipment, and mobile devices.
* Work independently and collaboratively to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits:
* Salary £18,000 Per Annum
* Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm
* 1 hour lunch break
* 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
* Private medical insurance after 3 months
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:
* Good written & verbal communication skills with a confident, friendly telephone manner
* A good listener, able to understand problems and diagnose faults
* Able to manage workflow with multiple tickets
* A willingness to learn new and existing technologies
* Grade 4/C in Math's and 5/C in English
