What’s involved?
As a Chef de Partie, you will work as part of the kitchen team to prepare, cook and present dishes in a timely manner, ensuring you work to company standards and have a high standard of food hygiene at all times.
Reporting to the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will be aware of the day’s business and be familiar with any specials on the menu. You will monitor portion control to maintain profit margins and minimise wastage.
As an experienced chef, you also will assist with the training and development of any junior chefs working with you.
You will be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns including evenings and weekends, multitask, and be able to work under pressure.
Please note that accommodation is not available, therefore you should only apply to this role if you can commute to the Newbury area on a daily basis. With the nearest bus stop being a 30-minute walk away and the train station even further again, this role may be more suited to someone with their own transport.
