About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Analyst to join our team, supporting critical projects within the defence sector. This role involves working closely with clients, stakeholders, and developers to identify challenges, gather requirements, and deliver tailored software solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and make a tangible difference to the organisations we support.
This position is based on-site 5 days per week due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop strong relationships with clients to understand their operational challenges and identify how tailored solutions can address them.
* Collaborate with development teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
* Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and create support materials to ensure end-users understand and utilise applications effectively.
* Work within Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) to manage requirements across the project lifecycle.
* Evaluate and verify system capabilities, acting as a bridge between technical teams and end-users.
* Assist in prioritising objectives and advising clients on best practices and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
* Support the implementation of process improvements and technological solutions, guiding clients through changes.
About You
To excel in this role, you should bring:
* Previous experience as a Business Analyst, ideally with a strong background working in defence or with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
* A proven track record of managing projects across all stages of the lifecycle, from scoping to closure.
* Hands-on experience working in Agile environments, utilising frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* A passion for continuous learning and an adaptable mindset to keep up with evolving technologies and methodologies.
* Active DV clearance (essential)
