We are looking for a passionate HR Advisor to join our head office HR team, on an 18-month fixed term contract. This role will work closely with Head of Departments, as well as the Head of HR to support, lead and execute people-related matters and various projects. As a HR Advisor, your day to day will include: Supporting and coaching managers through investigations, absence reviews, performance related issues, disciplinary and grievance cases Provide advice to employees and people Managers about employment related issues. Dealing with HR aspects of employee health issues including occupational health and surveillance Managing absence cases of long- and short-term duration Managing all aspects of the onboarding process Update and maintain an effective HR database system, including the production of reports, KPI's and other statistics as required Extensive project-work opportunities across new and ongoing projects To provide generalist HR support, coaching and guidance in a competent and confidential manner To coach managers in and with all HR procedures and challenge non-compliance Interpret and advise on employment legislation Delivery of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding and induction, appraisals etc. Ensuring that the relevant documentation is up to date and complies with legislation at all times Providing support processing offer letters, contracts of employment and amendments in line with both employment law and company processes Support the on-going review of HR processes and policies Experience working as a HR Advisor Experience in providing advice and supporting management on employee relations cases Knowledge of Employment Law CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is desirable Strong Microsoft Office and database skills Highly motivated, reliable and hardworking Positive attitude and effective communicator Excellent time management skills, highly organised, approachable and flexible Ability to manage many tasks and prioritise appropriately Strong organisational and people skills Excellent time management skills Consistently works to deadlines Competitive salary paid on a monthly basis 34 days holiday, inclusive of bank holidays Attractive company pension scheme Health cash plan provided, allows you to claim towards health costs.
