What You Can Expect: Managers are responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. Managers develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. The Manager is responsible for understanding their client’s business and demonstrating technical competence in their product group and industry. Managers develop contacts with the business community and serve as ambassadors of Protiviti in the market. As a specialist in Finance Transformation, you will apply your specific expertise and experience in Finance Optimisation projects across a broad range of high-profile clients in a range of market sectors. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of key finance processes and associated risks including order to cash, procure to pay and record to report. Manage the delivery and execution of client engagements. Manage Protiviti and client staff in line with our BPI practice for the successful delivery of client engagements. Lead workshops with client stakeholders to obtain an understanding of key finance processes, risks, gaps and inefficiencies across people, process, technology, data and internal controls. Ensure accurate documentation of the current state of the client’s key finance processes via process flow diagrams. Identify, document and communicate key finance process risks, gaps and inefficiencies. Evaluate, synthesise, organize and interpret data sets. Proactively identify, document and communicate innovative ideas to simplify, standardise, automate and introduce best practices to key finance processes. Lead the design of a client’s finance target operating model across people, process, technology, data and internal controls. Draft/review final deliverables to capture the scope of the project, key observations, recommendations and suggested next steps. Execute project management, governance and administration tasks. Lead communication with client and Protiviti leadership. Assist with business development through support of marketing initiatives. Develop an understanding of Protiviti’s broader solutions and identify opportunities to expand Protiviti’s services with a client. Support the development of client proposals for new project opportunities. Assist with the development of Protiviti thought leadership white papers, FAQs and marketing materials with respect to Finance Transformation. Maintain and further develop knowledge of emerging finance trends and technology through ongoing training, development and professional certification. Lead, mentor and advise junior team members. Effectively application of Protiviti’s policies and methodologies. Accurately record time. Do Your Talents Include the Following? Experience in a consulting or in-house Finance Change or Transformation environment and we will also consider those with external/internal audit or financial accounting. Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment. Self-starter and can operate independently as needed. Demonstrate a highly professional approach to the work environment. Your Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Desirable to possess a Professional certification such as ICAEW or equivalent but not essential. 5 years in a related field, (preferably in professional services and/or industry). Our Workplace and Employment Process Protiviti practices a hybrid wording model, which is a combination of working in person with purpose and working remotely and is primarily dependent upon the needs of our client. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. It can sometimes mean more of a full-time presence at our client. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local, or UK wide travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments. Remuneration and Benefits Starting salaries are competitive and are based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the salary range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Employees are eligible for medical and dental insurance cover, life assurance, pension scheme and receive up to 25 days holiday per calendar year. Protiviti also recognises up to 10 paid holidays each calendar year and we have additional benefits as part of the Robert Half Enterprise.
