What You Will Get to Do:
1. Coordinate and direct the production assembly teams and set up assembly lines workflow to fulfill requirements
2. Ensure production is completed in a timely manner and within quality parameters
3. Work with Ergo Supervisor to manage and prioritize Assembling lines assignments to ensure production schedules and customer priorities are met
4. Keep daily production board records updated and follow up team when required
5. Perform and follow QC (quality control) inspection of products standards
6. Coordinate employee training with Ergo supervisor to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality and safety requirements
7. Participate as an active member of the Ergo assembly team, train and support team when required
8. Perform routine schedule maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with Ergo machines and equipment
9. Work closely with Ergo supervisor and supporting staff such as Production Planner/Scheduler, Shipping & Receiving, Manufacturing Engineer, other Leads, etc. to resolve issues and answer questions
10. Participate with Ergo Supervisor in developing, implementing and sustaining the best possible processes and procedures to maximize quality and minimize cycle time
11. Participate on cycle counting and inventory accuracy within your department to fulfill all Inventory Control and Workrite’s auditor team requirements. Also, properly scan jobs ensuring accuracy is met and on time.
12. Understand the set up and operations of machines including: Greaser and BB machines, Spin riveters, Pad printer, fixtures set up, crimping machine and overall use of all Ergo production tools
What You Will Bring:
1. 2 years of manufacturing or related experience, proficiency in Assembly functions. Experience working leading teams with more than five people. Ability to provide constructive feedback to team members to improve safety, teamwork and productive/efficient work environment. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operation instructions and procedure manuals.
2. High School Diploma or GED
3. Proficient knowledge and experience Microsoft Office Suite
4. Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
5. Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
