An excellent opportunity has been made available by my client, an established housing provider in the UK. My client has a large portfolio of supported living projects and offers generic housing management and supported housing services.
Vacancy Brief:
* My client is looking for a Supported Housing Team Leader (Assistant Manager); this is initially a temp opportunity until the end of May 2025.
* A full-time role, it is 35 hours per week.
* The working pattern is a rolling 3-week rota with 10hr shifts from 8am-6pm (Week 1: Tue-Fri, Week 2: Mon-Thurs, and Week 3: Thurs-Sun).
* Pay Rate is £14.55 PAYE OR £19.01 Umbrella.
* A Full UK Driver’s License and access to a vehicle is required.
* Supporting clients with homelessness support needs between the ages of 16 – 25.
* The role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check covering children and adult’s workforce issued within the last 12 months or on the update service.
The Responsibilities:
* As a Supported Housing Team Leader, you will line manage a staff team, providing guidance and support in matters of practice, quality, performance, compliance, and resource management.
* You will support the team to work with service users, offering creative and innovative opportunities for them to improve their quality of life, develop their skills, and make decisions about their future, providing guidance and leading support to staff teams on complex cases.
* You will act as a lead person and take responsibility for decisions about the provision of the service during working hours, providing advice to colleagues, managing any incidents, and escalating issues to the Service lead or ‘On Call’ manager as necessary.
* You will take responsibility for all aspects of people management including managing the recruitment, attendance, conduct, and performance of direct reports using the appropriate policies and procedures.
* Furthermore, you will conduct team meetings to review and direct key tasks in relation to support and housing management.
