About This Role: Pickwick Academy Trust is recruiting a permanent, part-time Before and After School Club Play Leader at Corsham Primary School.
Hours: 20 hours per week, 7.45am – 8.45am plus 3.00pm to 6.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, working 38 weeks per year (term time, excluding TD days). Flexibility will be considered in meeting some or all of the hours available.
Duties Will Include:
* To lead the day-to-day management of the before and after school provision.
* To provide line management to a team of play leaders, directing their work, supervising their activities, and inducting new staff members.
* To work with play leaders to provide care, as well as play opportunities and activities in a safe, caring, and stimulating environment, considering the individual developmental needs of the children.
* To implement and regularly review all policies and procedures for the before and after school provision.
* To maintain all records relating to the before and after school provision in accordance with data protection and freedom of information legislation/regulations.
* To liaise with the school team to administer bookings and organise the collection of fees, ensuring that any monetary transactions are handled and documented as directed by the School’s Business Manager.
* To maintain records of staff attendance and manage staff absence and lateness.
* Health and safety duties and responsibilities.
* Safeguarding duties and responsibilities.
