Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Festival Activator Lead FTC 6 Months to be based across the UK.
The Festival Activator Programme is one of the most important parts of the Red Bull UK Festival & Events Strategy. You’re the face of the company across the festival circuit; a positive, knowledgeable, and proactive attitude is essential.
This is a fixed term role in our On Premise Marketing team. You’ll work a series of festivals from week commencing 19th May to week commencing 15th September over 15+ weekends totalling 50+ days.
As the Festival Activator Lead you’ll be working alongside our Festival Specialist to plan and organise the summer for the Festival Activator team. You will be in charge of all advancing & scheduling for our internship programme, overseen and assisted by our Festival Specialist. This includes; organising accreditation for the teams on site, booking travel & accommodation, scheduling, ticket management, reporting and prepping information packs each week. Alongside this you will also be a key part of the Festival Activator programme, working with the team to activate the Festival Marketing and Sales plan across the festival sites, constantly in search of additional opportunities and Point of Sale (POS) placements across the site.
There will be some inconsistent hours, long days and a lot of travelling – the Festival Activator Lead will have to be able to work hard and play hard! It is an incredibly physical job that will require a lot of heavy lifting, walking and sleeping onsite in tents. We would require our Festival Lead to have a clean drivers license in order to hire cars & vans throughout the summer. As the Festival Activator Lead, we will supply you with a mobile phone and a laptop in order for you to lead on all advancing and be in contact with various POCs onsite. It is vital you are able to commit to working most weekends in the summer from Monday 19th May to Monday 15th September. Also to be available for an assessment day for the Festival Activators on Tuesday 15th April, should your application be successful.
The working week will look different week on week, but please be prepared to work majority of weekends throughout the summer and therefore taking time off during the week.
It’s not for the faint hearted! Although you will be exhausted you will have the best summer ever.
