We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications and Marketing Officer to join the Hospice team The Hospice will be marking its 40th anniversary next year and is experiencing an exciting phase of growth. As Communications and Marketing Officer, you will play a pivotal role by planning and delivering highly impactful marketing and communication campaigns for the income generation teams. No two days will be the same, however your main duties will include: Plan, implement, deliver and analyse communication and marketing campaigns in support of the Hospice’s fundraising and retail activity. Create and write engaging and compelling content which will be used across a variety of on and offline channels to educate donors and supporters about the breadth of our services and how they can support us. Manage and update the Hospice’s website, ensuring our brand and tone is consistent throughout. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally You will have the following experience in marketing and communications: Planning and developing engaging content for print and digital channels Managing social media channels and using audience insights Experience of using analytical tools such as Google Analytics You will also have: Proven experience in a similar role Strong organisational and planning skills including being able to prioritise your workload to hit deadlines Excellent communication skills and be able to communicate within all levels within the Hospice and patients, families, supporters and external agencies What we can offer you in return: Generous annual leave entitlement of up to 41 days Attractive pension schemes Extensive employee discounts Training and development opportunities This role will primarily work Monday - Friday however there will be a requirement to work weekends and evenings when our live events are taking place.
