Part Time Children’s Centre Receptionist (3 days a week)

Your new school
A Children’s Centre which deals with the local community and runs a number of children parent groups is looking for a Children’s Centre Receptionist. The role is a long-term contract to start in January 2025 until March 2025 and would be 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9am to 5pm (please note there is no flexibility on these days).
Your new job
You will be responsible for supporting at a front desk reception, signing in visitors, opening the gates into the car park, and signing for deliveries. You will also support with general admin such as scanning and shredding documents. You must have strong customer service skills.
What you'll need to succeed
For this administrator job, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a telephone manner with the ability to work in a pressured environment, as well as an understanding of the importance of 'Child Protection and Safeguarding' issues when working on a school reception. You will also have recent experience working as a school receptionist with satisfactory references. Any person working in a school must hold an enhanced DBS check.
