Job Title: Finance Analyst
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Type: Permanent, Hybrid Working (2 days in Office)
Location: Birmingham City Centre
As a Commercial Finance Analyst, you'll support the business by providing financial insights and assisting the commercial team in enhancing performance. You'll also work on improving processes and controls within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Leadership: Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
2. Financial Analysis: Assist with areas in the business for analysis and profitability analysis and examine future impacts.
3. Reporting: Produce and distribute weekly and monthly reports, develop new reports and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. Understand, analyse, and explain any variances from the budget. Provide one-off analysis and reporting as required.
4. Data Analysis: Extract and analyse data from finance and operational systems to track spending, prepare monthly accruals, and generate reports.
5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting, drive cost-saving initiatives, and enhance efficiency.
About You:
1. Part-qualified or progressing towards an accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
2. Experience working in an analytical role in a finance department.
3. Advanced Excel skills.
4. Excellent communication skills.
