The Grange University Hospital (GUH) is looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 pharmacist to join our team. The successful applicant will be providing a generalist pharmaceutical service to a variety of wards within the Specialist Critical Care Centre. If you are a clinical pharmacist with a passion for pharmacy, we would love you to join our team.
In this role you will build upon previous experience, developing greater autonomy and responsibility whilst working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will gain experience working within different clinical areas. Development opportunities will be in line with skills required to meet the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Advance Practice Framework and may include Non-medical prescribing skills, quality improvement, research, and education and training skills.
Main duties of the job
As a conscientious and forward-thinking individual you will have responsibility for the delivery of a high quality clinical service. You will work closely with and be supported by senior pharmacists to continue your development in pharmacy practice and career progression. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are an essential part of this role. Our patients are our highest priority so we welcome innovative suggestions for pharmacy practice whilst delivering excellence in pharmaceutical care.

Pharmacy enjoys excellent multidisciplinary links within the Health Board and we deliver clinical services to a wide range of specialities and are committed to the professional development of our 190 strong pharmacy team. The Health Board has automated pharmacy systems and a comprehensive medicines management service including electronic discharge.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
