Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team in a nurturing childcare environment. Qualifications and Experience:
1. Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
2. Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential, with a focus on managing or leading teams being highly advantageous.
3. A background working with children in a nursery or similar setting is preferred.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
5. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
6. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development is crucial.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the management of daily nursery activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
2. Support the Lead Practitioner in planning and implementing educational programs that cater to the developmental needs of children.
3. Supervise and engage with children during playtime, fostering a positive learning environment.
4. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise.
5. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members, promoting teamwork and collaboration within the nursery.
6. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
7. Drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting.
