Role Overview: As Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring smooth, cost-effective, and compliant logistics activities. You will lead a high-performing team, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all depot operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Manage and develop a team of drivers, warehouse staff, and administrators to ensure high performance and morale. Drive operational improvements to enhance productivity, cost-effectiveness, and service levels. Ensure health & safety, vehicle maintenance, and site security standards are met. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Work closely with senior management to align depot operations with overall business goals. Manage budgets, costs, and resources effectively to maximize profitability. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in depot, transport, or logistics management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Knowledge of transport compliance, fleet management, and health & safety regulations. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills. Ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
