Shift: Rotating Shifts - 3 shifts rotating, 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am (40 hours per week)
Salary: Up to £46,000 per annum depending on experience

Role Overview: As our next Multi Skilled Engineer, you will enable us to optimise machinery output and product quality, and minimise plant downtime through effective preventative maintenance, efficient breakdown response in specific areas of the factory whilst maintaining a safe and healthy environment and promoting good engineering practices.

Role Responsibilities:
* Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one area of the factory or lower tier of Multi-Skilled Engineer framework.
* Assist in building an up-to-date PPM system and ensuring planned maintenance is carried out professionally and promptly.
* Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective and efficient corrective action is taken.
* Quick and effective response to breakdowns in more than one area on site, keeping all stakeholders informed and where possible identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to minimize or prevent further breakdowns occurring.
* Report and track lost time, causes of breakdowns, record parts used/required and Health and Safety and Environmental Issues.
* Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety guidelines, highlighting possible areas of improvement to the Shift Supervisor / Manager.

What You Bring To The Role:
* Extensive experience in engineering within a similar environment.
* Educated to L3 or equivalent in Engineering or Maintenance.
* Electrical or Welding/Fabrication experience.
* Familiarity with process machinery or equivalent equipment and the ability to fault find.
* Mechanical fitting skills.
* Ability to mentor a Level 1/2 Maintenance Engineers and Apprentices.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work individually or as part of a team.
* Basic IT knowledge to support with shift handover.
