Here at the MTC, we know that to continue realising our vision to inspire great British manufacturing on the global stage, means to continue having the right people in place throughout the company.
Our Graduate Development Programme has been put together to help us do just that. Structured to give you the experience, knowledge, and skills across our key business disciplines, it represents a fantastic opportunity to become an integral part of a team that not only supports UK manufacturing but plays a big part in bringing it to life.
Our two-year rotational programme is specifically designed to build your experience and understanding of our Sector, and different business areas, which could include:
1. Business Development
2. Human Resources
3. Project Management
4. Marketing
5. Finance
6. Digital (Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Applications, IT Service Delivery)
7. Legal
Working on exciting live projects from the start, alongside some of the best minds in the industry, you’ll learn first-hand what it takes to build a successful career bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Our programmes are based in Coventry or Liverpool.
In addition to helping you hone essential business, commercial and personal leadership skills, including problem solving and creativity, financial awareness, and effective relationship building, you’ll have a dedicated mentor to guide you through a professionally structured development programme.
What we’re looking for:

1. An accredited bachelor’s degree (2:1 minimum) in a relevant Business, Economics, or Data Analytics discipline.
2. A genuine passion for business improvement, innovation and creativity skills making an impact on our future strategy.
3. Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Sound commercial and economic awareness.

Due to the nature of our business, all employment is subject to satisfactory references being obtained, attainment of either a Security Check, Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check or Foreign Police Check (whichever is applicable depending on duration of UK residency) and, as applicable, a medical assessment. Access to US technical data by employees requires prior Trade Control function approval. Clearance must be carried out against all applicable US export control authorisations.
