IT Support Technician - 2nd Line Progression, 2nd Line Exposure Our top tier global law firm client are currently looking to take on a new IT Support Technician (2nd Line Progression, 2nd Line Exposure) on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity which will see you to break away from the service desk This role is going to enable you to be exposed to a great deal of project and higher levels of technical support. To be considered for this role, it is paramount that you understand the importance of customer service, our client are a firm that pride them selves on a strong white glove service and an eager attitude. Alongside this you will require: 2 years within 1st Line Support Ideal but not required law firm or professional services experience A background within IT & Customer Service. Be well presented and well spoken. Duties: Supports the lifecycle management of regional technology, both for end-users as well as the Firm’s offices and facilities. Successfully sets priorities, performs tasks in an orderly fashion, and meets project and customer deadlines. Keeps the Regional IT Manager informed of status of all desktop support projects. Serves as the regional office expert in all aspects of PC, laptop, and printer hardware, operating systems, and IT applications. Responds to trouble calls, diagnoses, and resolves desktop hardware and software problems reported by end-users in a timely manner. Maintains office computer asset inventory records in accordance with policies and procedures. Performs miscellaneous technical support tasks and special technical projects as assigned. Performs online or desk-side training on Firm IT applications, systems, and policies for Firm lawyers and administrative staff as required.
