Contracts Manager - Social Housing Planned Works

£60,000 - £65,000 per annum plus package
Based in Folkestone
We are working with a leading Property Services and Construction Contractor to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their team, delivering planned works to residential properties in the Folkestone area.
All projects are part of long-term partnerships with Local Authorities and Housing Association clients, including internal and external refurbishment schemes, kitchens/bathrooms, window & door replacements, roofing renewals, cladding, EWI & M&E. We are looking for candidates with comparable experience working for a Main Contractor.
As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple workstreams, leading a team of direct reports and subcontractors. You will be the clients' main point of contact and ensure projects are delivered on time, to budget, to specification, and to the highest possible quality.
We are looking for somebody with experience of Planned Works within the Social Housing sector. Retrofit knowledge and experience would also be preferred.
You will be a natural leader, able to effectively manage and motivate a team, and will have strong communication skills as well as previous experience in a similar role. You will have experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management and be able to multi-task, prioritise, and work to strict deadlines. We'd also like you to have knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 and CDM, as well as other Health & Safety regulations.
