Reservations Manager Reporting directly to the General Manager, as the Reservations Manager, you will lead a pivotal team responsible for connecting guests with the unique charm and sophistication of our two flagship properties. By blending operational excellence with creative thinking, you will elevate the reservations process, ensuring every booking reflects the essence of luxury hospitality. Your role will be instrumental in driving revenue, enhancing guest satisfaction, and delivering a seamless experience that begins the moment guests reach out to us. What You'll Be Doing: Champion Seamless Operations: Lead and oversee the Reservations team across both properties, ensuring every inquiry, booking, and communication is handled with precision, warmth, and a commitment to high-end service. Maximize Revenue: Strategically manage room inventory, pricing, and availability to maximise revenue opportunities and consistently meet or exceed commercial targets. Showcase Edinburgh's Allure: Highlight the unique offerings of both luxury properties, ensuring every guest interaction embodies the character, style, and heritage of our hotels. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Front Office, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver a cohesive and seamless guest experience, aligning strategies to support both operational and financial goals. Develop and Inspire Your Team: Mentor, train, and empower the Reservations team to deliver 5-star service with confidence, creativity, and professionalism, fostering a culture of excellence and growth. Enhance Processes: Continuously refine reservations procedures to align with RBH's high standards, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve the guest journey. Deliver Memorable First Impressions: Set the tone for an exceptional guest experience by creating meaningful and personalized first interactions that resonate throughout the guest's stay. Provide Key Insights: Analyse booking trends and deliver detailed reports to inform strategic decision-making, working closely with revenue management teams to optimise performance. Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with booking policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards, ensuring all operations uphold the integrity of the business and guest trust. Build Strong Partnerships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with OTAs, corporate accounts, and key partners, expanding the reach and visibility of both properties within the 5-star hospitality market. Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and inspiring teams to perform at their best. A natural communicator who can create strong relationships with team members, stakeholders, and guests. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and maintain attention to detail under pressure. Proficiency in property management systems is essential (Opera experience is a bonus). You're data-driven and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making. A passion for delivering personalised service and creating memorable guest experiences. You thrive in dynamic environments and embrace the challenge of managing two unique properties.
