Reference: c5870db3 Job Purpose: I am a teenage boy with autism who is seeking a PA to accompany me to social and leisure activities such as performing arts, swimming, and trampolining. I would like someone who can support me to build my confidence whilst I am out in the community, broaden my horizon and experience what the world looks like. It would also be beneficial to have someone who is able to model how to act and behave when out in the community. Due to my autism, I can find change unsettling and I would like someone who can support me to manage my emotions when things go wrong, or circumstances change and help me to develop coping mechanisms. Ideally, I am looking for someone who has previous experience of working with young people with autism. Location: Cromer Details: Accompany me to social and leisure activities. Being aware of my safety when out in the community e.g. ensuring I lock the bathroom door. Summary terms and conditions: The rate of pay for this position is £12 per hour You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role Hours and days of work: 2 hours per week, the exact day of which is to be determined. The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks. Should this job role include any of the following duties: food preparation, moving & handling, chemical handling (general household cleaning products) or the handling of medication, you will be required to undertake mandatory training.
