Purpose
This is an exciting temporary opportunity (until March 31st) to be the cutting edge of the growth in Shaw Trust Supported Internships. This job coach opportunity is based at the Marriott Hotel in West London.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with neurodiverse young people or adults, be flexible, committed to making a difference and be able to work under pressure and be an effective communicator. The job coach role will need the successful candidates to be able to work with vulnerable young people and engage employers to offer placements and work opportunities.
This is a fixed term role for 3 months
Essential:
You will have:
1. NVQ Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Careers Education and Guidance, Youth and Community work or Social Care (or working towards), ILM L5 coaching award
2. Agreement to undertake the L3 Supported Employment qualification
3. Proven record of success in engaging SEN participants on Programme
