Robert Half are recruiting for a thriving company in BD18 who are looking for an Accountant to assist in managing financial operations, including bookkeeping, budgeting/forecasting, treasury, and ad-hoc reporting. This role is crucial in ensuring the proper operation of control accounts and maintaining the regularity of key balance sheet accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing financial accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
* Overseeing control accounts and conducting regular reviews to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
* Preparing and analysing business forecasts and budgets consistently.
* Maintaining credit control, cash collection, cash flow monitoring, and reporting.
* Assisting in the preparation of annual and quarterly reports, ensuring they comply with local statutory reporting and tax requirements.
* Ensuring all necessary declarations like VAT, HMRC, ONS etc., are accurately made.
* Being proactive in reporting any issues or material variance to budget or forecast to the Finance Director.
You will be expected to support the FC in operations and business follow-ups, including adherence to group rules and procedures.
It's crucial to have great communication skills, as you will support the FC in day-to-day office operational matters and regularly communicate about regional objectives with the Regional General Manager.
