About the team
The Corporate Applications team is a centralized function that will help manage and maintain all applications in use across Worldpay. We will partner with all business and technology teams to ensure Worldpay is maximizing the applications' functionality. The team is aligned to business functions and works in partnership with other Worldpay Technology Services teams.
What you’ll own
Operationalize the Corporate Applications function
1. Implement and monitor standards: Collaborate with business colleagues establishing standards and processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability across Corporate Applications.
2. Build and maintain a comprehensive catalog of standards across all services, incorporating input from stakeholders and SMEs as needed.
3. Continuous Improvement: Periodically review and update standards, adapting them to evolving business needs and industry developments.
4. Effectively communicate standards clearly within Corporate Applications to ensure compliance and enable Corporate Applications to support business functions in adhering to these standards.
5. Establish effective ways of working: set high expectations and enforce guiding principles and processes to promote collaboration and consistent operational practices.
6. Define principles and processes that streamline Corporate Applications’ approach to driving actionable outcomes.
7. Set clear guidelines for engagement with business functions, including well-defined escalation paths to handle issues promptly and transparently.
8. Lead and guide other Business Analysts to drive consistency, efficiency, and accountability within the Governance Team.
Coordinate and drive governance & reporting
1. Create and present key Corporate Applications reports at established intervals, ensuring that leadership has an accurate view of function performance.
2. Solicit input from relevant stakeholders to ensure reports are comprehensive and reflect on-the-ground insights.
3. Collaborate on standards adherence and performance reporting with the Domain Lead team.
4. Partner with FP&A to provide transparency on Corporate Applications costs and budgets.
What you bring
1. At least 6 years of related information systems or business analysis experience.
2. Proven experience analyzing, standardizing, and improving processes with innovative business solutions or corporate applications.
3. Ability to influence and work with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
4. Excellent communication skills – written and verbally – can translate technical terms and concepts easily into business-oriented language and vice versa.
5. Strong empathetic approach to customer service – naturally builds trust and confidence at the start of relationships.
6. Ability to make decisions and work with ambiguity.
7. Analytical and attentive to detail, but can also step back and appreciate the bigger picture.
