About the role The Institute of Applied Technology (IAT) – Construction is focused on future innovations and leadership in Construction Working in collaboration with TAFE NSW, Western Sydney University, and CPB Contractors. The Institute of Applied Technology Construction delivers market-leading training that rapidly responds to industry needs. Addressing future focused industry-based construction needs by delivering a practical range of Microskills and Microcredentials courses via both face-to-face delivery and online. IAT provides state-of-the-art simulated workplace environments and offers course areas within Construction Project Management, Power BI in Construction, Contract Administration in Construction, Leadership in Construction, Microsoft Office 365 Fundamentals in Construction, Work Health & Safety in Construction and Sustainability in Construction. About You To be eligible for this position, you must possess at least three years of relevant experience in the construction industry, which should have been acquired within the last five years. As well as specific experience at a supervisory level in the construction industry relating to any of the following areas: Project management in construction Digital skills such as Microsoft Office 365 – Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word Power BI in construction Contract administration in construction Supervision/leadership in construction WHS in construction Sustainability in construction Construction Worker Safety PPE and IoT Understanding the National Construction Code Robotics and Automation Construction Cloud Renewable Energy Modula Construction Using Equipment Simulators in Construction There are a number of disciplines available, therefore the successful applicant/s may hold the following: Advanced Diploma or higher qualification in the chosen area Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence. Please note it is not a requirement for this role to hold a teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training.
