As Homologation Engineer with a market leader in vehicle safety solutions, you will apply automotive quality tools, processes and working practices to ensure the company's diverse customers’ product quality expectations are achieved and continually improved. This challenging role requires a degree qualified engineer with experience in quality/certification/homologation customer / supplier facing role gained in the automotive supply chain. Your key responsibilities as Homologation Engineer will include: Take ownership of the company’s documented type approval, conformity of production and product conformance processes and procedures. Supporting the procurement department to ensure that the value stream is fully compliant Supporting product managers and their teams to ensure that new type approvals, extension to scope and cessation of production records are maintained. Your Profile: Degree qualified or working towards an engineering degree Actively engages with a relevant industry institute, such as the “Institute of Engineering & Technology” (IET) or the “Chartered Quality Institute” (CQI). Experience in quality/certification/homologation customer or supplier facing role gained in the automotive supply chain, with expertise in at least one of the following: Conformity of Production (CoP) Type Approval Homologation CE, UKCA, FCC, IC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE International Material Data System (IMDS) Supplier Auditing & IATF 16949:2016.
