Job role
We are excited to offer the opportunity to join our wonderful school and work with our exceptional pupils. We are currently looking for a creative, reflective, and resilient Primary Teacher to work with our pupils who experience a range of needs including SEMH/ASD. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, assessing, and implementing the Primary curriculum for all learners to ensure pupil progress and meet the needs and interests of learners with SEMH difficulties.
Your experience
Experience working with children and young people who have special educational needs is essential. You will have a broad knowledge of strategies used for building and sustaining positive relationships with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs and those who have a diagnosis of autistic spectrum disorder. Although this is a primary post, it would also be suitable for a secondary school teacher with the correct skill set.
