Logistics Administrator
The Role
We are working on behalf of our client who is looking for a Logistics Administrator. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a key role within the business to ensure the smooth delivery of multiple and varied projects. You will be involved at every stage of the process from project initiation through to project delivery, liaising with customers, the wider project team, and working across internal company departments.
The Person
You will need to act as the face of the company, operating at all business levels and communicating both internally and externally. Highly organized with strict timekeeping and proficient IT skills are a prerequisite for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Raising purchase orders
* Issuing spares quotations to customers
* Liaising with suppliers for technical details, including drawings
* Following up on issued spares quotes to customers
* Maintaining regular customer contact to drive sales
* Stock control
* Monthly financial reporting to the Supply Chain Manager
* Processing supplier invoices
* Weekly reporting
* Ad hoc responsibilities as required
In Return:
* Salary of up to £32,000
* Bonus based on both personal and company targets
* 33 days holiday including bank holidays per annum
