Role Description This is an exciting and valuable full time role for a team manager within a busy service, providing invaluable assessments to families and adults. This is a hybrid role located in Norwich for a suitably qualified clinician working as a team lead within the Evolve Neurodevelopmental Assessment Team for adults and Children referred for Autism and/ or ADHD assessments via NHS Patient choice and their GP. The role requires managing the team which comprises of psychology, Speech and language therapists, OT, paediatricians and assistant psychologists. It also involves being part of the management team overseeing comprehensive specialist assessments including diagnostic assessments of individuals with suspected Autism and/ or ADHD using established diagnostic tools. Assessments are undertaken on behalf of the NHS via GP referral. Main responsibilities include : Management of the multidisciplinary team Being a point of contact for all matters related to the day to day running of the local service Being familiar with all the resources (e.g. questionnaires)/ components (e.g. cognitive assessment) that support the assessment process and guiding other clinicians Monitoring contract mobilisation and service delivery Oversight locally of company strategy Monitoring of contract and local KPI's Clinical governance Have a clinical overview of all the current assessment cases in the clinic, ensuring each case is led by a particular clinician, that there is a clear plan for each, that there is no drift. Problem-solving issues in a clinic (e.g. clinician sickness/ reallocation of cases/ redistributing time) Supporting newer members of the team to make transition into the work/ support development of skills/ offering support where needed Identifying issues in the clinic processes that may need improvement and working with senior leadership/ management to work to resolve; developing new resources that will support and enhance the clinics Escalating issues and working with senior leadership/ management to resolve Attending company events and management meetings Identifying training needs/ topics for teams and individuals and signposting/ discussing with senior leadership/ management. Salary : £62,000- £65,000 Qualifications HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist or NMC registered nurse or Neurodevelopmental practitioner experience with specialist training as below Must be eligible to work in the UK Experience in conducting diagnostic Neurodevelopmental/ Specialist developmental assessments with children and/ or adults Experience working with children and/ or adults with neurodevelopmental disorders or mental health difficulties in a clinical setting Knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and appropriate assessment tools for Autism and ADHD Knowledge of differential diagnosis ADOS-2/ ADI-R trained Ideally QB Trained Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience of team and service management Benefits Pension Generous Annual Leave allowance Full ongoing training and clinical supervision Birthday day of/ day in lieu Company benefits and discounts Company events Ongoing training and CPD Clinical Supervision integral to the role
