Job Summary:
To oversee and optimize the smooth day-to-day running of the Warehouse operation including people planning, maintaining high levels of productivity and accuracy, implementing safety and compliance standards, and demonstrating an innovative approach to improving operational processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Accountable for the ongoing performance of the Warehouse operations including the achievement of the agreed service levels and budget.
* Set priorities for direct reports and their teams, ensuring a balance between consistent day-to-day delivery against KPIs, longer-term planning, and support of key operational projects and initiatives.
* Role model company competencies and act as a coach to strengthen the pipeline with talented and committed managers of the future.
* Ensure resources, including agency, within all areas of accountability are sufficient to meet operational requirements.
* Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities through the use of Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma principles.
* Ensure exceptional Health and Safety performance within areas of control.
* Lead from the front and drive a positive health and safety culture in the DC and across the network.
* Ensure MB UK policies and principles are effectively cascaded to, and adhered to across all areas of accountability.
* Ensure the site is audit-ready at all times for health and safety and food quality standards.
* Make a positive contribution to all DC and network-wide initiatives.
