The role involves overseeing the daily operations of the weighbridge function and the coordination of transport plans. Additionally, it includes the efficient management of available resources at the sites and depots falling within their jurisdiction.
Responsibilities:
1. Incoming and outgoing waste controls - Ensure wastes meet the site and the duty of care requirements, WAC, and associated inspections of waste are completed, non-conforming waste is handled as appropriate.
2. Receive, check the reference of, and log tonnages imported onto the site, log tonnages through the transfer station and associated waste activities, log transfer notes and waste analysis forms.
3. Inform the site management of any plant failures, provide information to the management who can take effective action to improve operating performance. Monthly production volumes imported/exported to/from the site.
4. Knowledge of waste acceptance, inspection, and reception.
5. Processing of vehicles and resources on a daily basis.
6. Quality awareness to enable them to be aware of and to report any quality problems regarding the products prior to it being passed on to the customer.
7. Work in a safe manner to ensure the Health & Safety of yourself and others.
