Job Duties:
* Deliver high-quality English and Maths tuition to GCSE level students in an outreach setting (theri homes or local libraries)
* Develop individualised learning plans to cater to the specific needs of students
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
* Engage and motivate students to achieve academic success
* Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment
Required Qualifications:
* A recognised teaching qualification
* Specialism in English and Maths at GCSE level
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
* Effective classroom management skills
* Passion for education and helping students reach their full potential
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities
* Additional qualifications in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or similar
Working Conditions:
* Part-Time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs
* Work in an outreach setting (learners homes, local libraries or schools), travelling to different locations
* Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and other stakeholders
* Adherence to safeguarding and child protection policies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
