Hays are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a locally owned organisation that are well known within the Aberdeen area for providing quality service offerings across the city centre. The requirement for a full time, permanent Bookkeeper has become available to support in the daily and weekly management of finance tasks for the business.
Your new role
In your new role, you will be a key point of contact within the organisation for managing daily and weekly transactional finance tasks. This will include double entry bookkeeping, invoice processing, payment runs, carrying out bank and cash reconciliations as well as dealing with any internal or external queries relating to finance. You will be required to prepare financial information and analysis for external review, with a proactive willingness to meet deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you will be an experienced Bookkeeper who is interested in working for a local organisation within the Aberdeen area that can confidently manage a varied workload independently. You will be able to demonstrate your previous experience managing debits and credits; working through financial information to report to senior stakeholders and have an interest in securing a varied finance role. Previous experience using Xero and Microsoft Excel will be of considerable advantage.
