Finance Assistant
Permanent - Derby
Salary: £24k - Office based
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a Derby based client within the finance department.
Duties:
1. Processing of invoices and credits & expenses in the purchase ledger.
2. Processing, coding, and collating company expense claims and credit card expenditure in accordance with company policy from coding, checking, processing through to payment.
3. Creating and completing payment runs.
4. Responsible for raising purchase orders.
5. Approval of the creation of new supplier accounts.
6. Maintaining all the purchase ledger records.
7. Treasury and banking including posting the daily bank statements and reconciling bank statements.
Key Skills:
1. Purchase Ledger experience essential.
2. Treasury and general ledger experience is desirable.
3. Ability to work to deadlines.
4. Efficient in a team and individually.
5. Good attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication skills at all levels.
7. Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, and Word).
