Social Worker Review and Extra Care Team
Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced part-time Social Work Practitioner to join Salford Adult Social Care. We strive to support people to live well and to be safe at home by having strength-based conversations to promote their wellbeing. We work closely with other organisations to ensure that people are well connected with their local communities and can work towards achieving their personal outcomes.
The Adult Social Care workforce aims to improve outcomes for people who live in Salford by developing a skilled and motivated workforce. We do this by investing in continued professional development and ensuring that social work practice is current and of a high standard. You should hold a degree in social work, be registered with Social Work England, with evidence of continuing professional development and a strong understanding of the application of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Safeguarding Adults.
Salford is an exciting place to work and live. The fastest growing economy in Greater Manchester, the city is already home to the BBC and Granada and is attracting many more digital media, creative, and professional businesses.
