Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director - Coventry A Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director is required on a permanent basis to join an innovative, state of the art company that specialises in advanced products primarily for the Automotive, Aerospace and Power industries. The Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director will be responsible for the delivery of engineering projects, programmes and services worldwide. The Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director will work with the Programme Leads and Engagement managers in all regions to ensure projects and services are adequately resourced and have the right balance of competence, skills and experienced to maintain competitive offerings and ensuring processes, methods and best practices are consistently applied across projects in all regions. Key Responsibilities of the Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director: - Strategic Leadership in developing technology roadmaps and delivery execution plans - Authoring Engineering Statements of Work to meet client requirements - Development and implementation of business, technology and RandD plans - Awareness of market trends and developments in order to influence and manage the future development of the team - Setting targets and delivering objectives to grow and achieve recognised technical excellence Requirements and Experience of the Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director : - Proven track record of leadership in Aerospace domain in the areas of Engine, Air Frames / structures and Interiors - Strong technological background in various aerospace engineering disciplines including fluid dynamics, propulsion, avionics, materials science, structural analysis, and MRO - Extensive experience in development of various Aerospace commodities including composite design, structural parts and assemblies for fuselage preliminary structures Frames, skins stringers, beams, intercostal, doors, radome, frames and bulkheads, Sub - structure, interiors - Strong understanding of primary and secondary structures of Aircraft on Structural, Thermal and Fatigue domain - Experience and ability to evidence managerial expertise - Knowledge of a range of aerospace areas and its design techniques - Excellent relationship building, collaboration and negotiation skills If interested in this Global Aerospace Centre of Excellence Director role then
