The purpose of the Projecting Engineering Lead role is to lead and be responsible for all aspects associated with the engineering design through to implementation and commissioning of capital projects on the Barnard Castle site.
In this role you will…
* Manage a multi-discipline engineering team within capital projects
* Provide technical leadership for the capital projects engineering team
* Provide guidance and support for discipline engineers
* Allocate resources and assist with prioritisation of capital projects
* Manage the interface between the client and the EPCM provider to ensure all projects are completed in compliance with the relevant engineering standards
* Liase with EPCM provider to ensure the engineering requirements for the site capital projects are met for the business areas.
* Manage and support the engineering design approval process from the EPCM provider
* Ensure business needs that are clearly defined in project URB are translated into the project URS
* Liase with the EPCM provider to ensure all engineering requirements are met at project handover following installation qualification
* Support commissioning and qualification tasks following the handover from the EPCM provider
Why you?
Qualifications & Skills:
* Qualified to HNC level in appropriate discipline
* Significant experience within a multi-discipline project management team
* Good written and communication skills
* Highly proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel applications
* Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing (cGMP and QMS) environment
