The Company:
Our client are a medium sized design studio of around 15 staff, with an excellent portfolio of project across several sectors, including: the casual dining, residential and hotel design.
They are a studio with low staff turnover and are an amazing place to work.
Requirements/role:
* Lead a team of Senior, Mid-Level, and Junior Designers, with support from an Interior Project Manager.
* Drive design output, ensuring projects move forward efficiently and meet deadlines.
* Provide mentorship, guidance, and inspiration to the team.
* Highly organized, both technically and creatively, with a reputation for getting things done.
* Manage project profitability, timelines, and scope to prevent scope creep.
* Hands-on approach, contributing to design work (FF&E) and providing CAD direction.
* Willingness to support new business development and pitch processes.
* Portfolio must showcase high-quality, creative, and trend-forward projects (not traditional or bland).
* Strong proficiency in InDesign with a keen eye for presentation layout, starting with their own portfolio.
* Significant experience in job leadership and team leadership, demonstrating reliability and independence.
