We are a small but growing business specialising in the facilitation of equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) programmes for organisations and businesses throughout the UK. Our aim is to consolidate and streamline the EDI journey for our clients, bringing people together to enable change that makes the world of work more inclusive.
As we expand, we’re looking for a motivated Early Career Office Administrator to join our team. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to contribute to a dynamic environment and grow within a company passionate about social impact and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration:
• Manage day-to-day office operations, including scheduling, filing, and correspondence.
• Organise and maintain company documents, ensuring confidentiality and accessibility.
• Assist with meeting preparation, including setting agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
• Handle basic bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing and expense tracking.
Project & Marketing Support:
• Support the marketing team with campaign coordination, research, and reporting.
• Assist in creating and scheduling social media content in line with the company’s branding.
• Manage and update the company’s CRM system with client and project details.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, client campaigns, events and business development initiatives.
EDI Initiatives:
• Assist in developing and maintaining EDI-focused policies and practices within the workplace.
• Support EDI awareness campaigns and contribute to inclusive marketing strategies.
• Act as a point of contact for questions or feedback, ensuring clients feel supported.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with online tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Commitment to promoting and championing EDI in professional settings.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in an administrative or marketing role (internships or part-time roles are suitable).
• Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Hootsuite).
• Understanding of basic principles of EDI and how they apply to workplace culture.
• Interest or background in small business environments or startups.
