An exciting opportunity to join our client and take a lead role in driving their Digital Release & Environment strategy.
Specific Requirements
You will demonstrate the required skills and manage resources (both internal and external) needed to deliver the Release and Environments Service across a range of platforms, all seamlessly integrated within one another, hosted in a mix of Salesforce, Azure, AWS, on-premise and more.
Role Responsibilities
* Develop and obtain approval for the release strategy for the end-state Programme.
* Ensure release strategy and processes are aligned across all workstreams where possible.
* Implement necessary process changes to transition to the end-state release strategy in support of the delivery roadmap.
* Demonstrable expertise in effective release management for multi-tier technology estates.
* Minimum of 3 years of prior release management experience.
* As an experienced DevOps and CI/CD practitioner, with a proven track record in creating release strategies and seeing them through to business as usual through the use of automation tooling, CI/CD pipelines and data refresh processes.
* Proficiency in source control, code management, branching, and build pipelines.
* Track record in creating, managing, and publishing release roadmaps.
* Experience in implementing automated release management capabilities.
* Previous involvement in managing multiple test environments and related release schedules.
