We are looking for a Deputy Operations Manager - Site to join our team. The role is full time and permanent, working 36 hours per week. This will include one in three weekends and Bank Holidays that fall in your working week.

Stonehenge is the best-known prehistoric monument in Europe, one of the wonders of the world, and the flagship property of English Heritage attracting 1.5 million visitors a year. The most significant, popular and commercially successful of English Heritage's historic properties - Stonehenge continues to grow from strength to strength and we're looking for an experienced manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the site operations team. This role brings unique challenges and opportunities for success and no two days are the same!
We are looking for an operations expert to be part of the Stonehenge management team with a particular focus on delivering great experiences to all of our visitors. A visible leader with strong people management and organisational skills, the Stonehenge Deputy Operations Manager - Site will lead a team of supervisors, stewards and contractors to deliver a world-class visitor experience. You will have the ability to manage multiple priorities, inspire trust and take personal responsibility for a well organised operation that delivers results swiftly, matching resources to business priorities.
To be considered as a Deputy Operations manager - Site, you'll need:
- Exceptional standards of customer care and visitor experience
- Have experience of managing, leading and inspiring large teams
- Collaborative approach to working with multiple agencies and departments
- Knowledge of H&S and Security policies in a comparable environment
- flexible and dynamic approach with experience of managing a broad scope of workload with competing priorities
