Project / Contracts Manager Environmental Remediation Solutions Viltra is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of engineered solutions for the reliable and effective treatment of aqueous effluent streams from industrial, commercial and residential premises. As a result of winning contracts with new clients throughout UK and Ireland who share our passion for the protection of the environment, this opportunity has arisen to join our growing engineering team based in Newry, Co. Down. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with an engineering background and experience of design, build and site installation of projects comprising civil works, and mechanical and electrical systems, who wishes to develop and build their career within a growing engineering team. This position is a key role in ensuring that customer expectations for the timely and effective delivery of bespoke design and build plant solutions are met in full. A requirement of this role will include travel to client sites throughout UK and Ireland. Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide themanagement of assigned customer projects from contract win through to customer handover. This role will involve close liaison with customers, Viltra sales, design, manufacturing and installation teams, suppliers and sub-contractors. The key responsibilities of this role will include: to plan and deliver effluent treatment plant design, build and installation projects from contract win through to customer handover to ensure assigned projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to Viltras high standards of quality to liaise with and manage specialist sub-contractors for civil, mechanical and electrical installation works to provide regular reports on project execution against delivery and budget milestones to maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation records to support pre-sales planning of project solutions REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will: have an engineering background with at least 5 years experience in the design, manufacture, and site installation of mechanical and electrical equipment have been awarded an HND, degree, or equivalent engineering or relevant technical qualification have a good working knowledge of safe systems of work for projects in the construction sector have a methodical approach to implementation planning, project risk management, resource prioritization, and problem resolution have experience with using project management software have good listening and understanding skills to fully engage with customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and colleagues have strong commercial awareness have a clean driving licence be flexible to travel throughout the UK and Ireland if required, including overnight stay be legally entitled to work in, and travel throughout, UK and EU Interested applicants should click apply with their CV and cover correspondence.
